
Eleven Kuje Inmates Undergo Successful Hernia Surgeries

Eleven inmates at Kuje Custodial Centre have successfully undergone hernia surgeries conducted by medical personnel of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on June 8 and 9.
FCT Command spokesperson, Adamu Duza, said the procedures followed global clinical standards and aimed to improve inmates’ well-being.
FCT Controller of Corrections, Olatubosun Ajibogun, reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to inmate healthcare, crediting the initiative to the reform-driven leadership of Controller General, Sylvester Nwakuche.
He added that NCoS remains focused on upholding inmates’ dignity through humane and secure custodial practices.
