The Access Bank branch situated at Wuse Market in Abuja has been sealed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) due to non-payment of ground rent for 34 years.

According to the FCTA, the action is part of a broader effort to recover long-standing debts owed by property owners and occupants within the FCT.

The property, which has reportedly failed to settle its ground rent since allocation, was shut down as a result of repeated non-compliance.

Officials stated that more enforcement actions will continue in other locations as the administration intensifies its revenue recovery drive.

Property owners and tenants are urged to regularize their land documents and settle all outstanding ground rents to avoid similar sanctions.Let me know if you’d like to add your company’s perspective, logo, or contact information at the end.
