The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has begun documentation for its newly nominated executive members in Abuja.
One of the key nominees is Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, selected to represent the North Central zone as Executive Director.
The documentation process is an important step to officially confirm the appointments and prepare the nominees for their duties. It involves verifying credentials and completing necessary administrative procedures.
The NCDC was recently set up to focus on development across Nigeria’s North Central region. Its goals include improving infrastructure, creating jobs, and promoting economic growth in the zone.
Meanwhile, some groups have raised concerns about fair representation in the commission. The North Central People’s Forum (NCPF) has called for all states in the region, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to be fairly represented in the commission’s leadership.
In response, the NCDC has promised to ensure fairness, transparency, and inclusiveness in its operations.
As the documentation continues, the commission is expected to announce its full leadership team soon and begin its development plans for the region.
