The University of Abuja has announced the promotion of 45 academic staff members to the rank of professor, marking a major milestone in the institution’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and staff development.
The promotions were approved by the University’s Governing Council following recommendations from the Appointments and Promotions Committee.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, congratulated the newly elevated professors, urging them to uphold the highest standards of research, teaching, and mentorship.
He emphasized that the promotions reflect not only personal achievement but also the university’s drive to strengthen its academic and research capacity.
