FCT Minister Nyesom Wike Inspects Key Infrastructure Projects Across Abuja

Abuja — The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, today embarked on an inspection tour of several ongoing infrastructure projects across the city as part of efforts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.

Among the projects inspected were the ongoing construction of the Life Camp to Karmo road, the Maitama to Gishiri bridge and access road, as well as the rehabilitation works at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.

Wike, accompanied by senior officials of the FCT Administration and project contractors, emphasized the administration’s commitment to enhancing road connectivity and improving the structural integrity of key public facilities in the capital.

Speaking during the tour, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the pace of work on some of the sites, while urging contractors to maintain quality and ensure the projects are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

“These projects are crucial to easing movement, enhancing safety, and improving the aesthetic value of Abuja. Our goal is to ensure that residents and visitors alike enjoy world-class infrastructure,” Wike said.

The inspection is part of the FCT Administration’s broader drive to accelerate urban renewal and improve public service delivery in the capital city.
