The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced a planned power outage affecting several parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
In a statement released on Saturday, AEDC explained that the blackout is due to scheduled maintenance work aimed at improving power supply reliability and safety.
According to the company, the affected areas will experience temporary disruption of electricity during the maintenance period. While AEDC did not list all the specific locations, it assured residents that the outage will be carefully managed and power will be restored as soon as the work is completed.
AEDC also apologized for the inconvenience and urged customers to remain patient while the upgrade is carried out.
