The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the loading price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to ₦865 per litre, marking a major development in Nigeria’s fuel market.
This price slash comes as the refinery begins large-scale supply of petrol into the domestic market, aiming to ease pressure on fuel prices and support nationwide distribution.
Industry insiders say the move could lead to a drop in pump prices once independent marketers begin loading directly from the facility.
