The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, today embarked on an inspection tour of several ongoing road projects across the FCT, assessing the pace and quality of work in preparation for their scheduled commissioning in June.

Among the sites visited were the 11km Aguma Palace–Radio Nigeria–New Market Road in Gwagwalada Area Council, the 15km A2 Junction–Pai Road in Kwali Area Council, and the Ushafa township roads in Bwari Area Council.

These infrastructure projects are part of the administration’s broader efforts to enhance connectivity and improve road conditions across the territory, particularly in the area councils. The Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and urged contractors to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.

The FCT Administration has committed to accelerating development in suburban communities through strategic infrastructure investment, with more roads lined up for commissioning in the coming months.
