President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Abuja for a two-week working visit to Paris, France. The president’s departure marks an important diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and France, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
During his time in France, President Tinubu is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss a wide range of issues, including trade, security, and international cooperation. This visit is seen as an opportunity to enhance Nigeria’s position on the global stage, fostering closer ties with European partners.
The President was accompanied by key officials, including members of his cabinet and diplomatic staff. Throughout his visit, he is expected to remain in close communication with government officials in Nigeria to ensure the continuity of government operations.
While in France, the president is also expected to engage in meetings with prominent business leaders to explore investment opportunities for Nigeria, as well as discuss cultural and educational exchanges between the two nations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that President Tinubu’s visit will further strengthen the growing relationship between Nigeria and France, with a focus on boosting trade, investment, and strategic collaboration on key global issues.
The president is expected to return to Nigeria in about two weeks, following which he will continue his engagements at home and abroad to advance Nigeria’s interests.
