
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has kicked off its activities for the 2025 National Police Day with a community-oriented initiative focused on crime prevention and raising public awareness.
The three-day outreach, themed “Say NO to Crime,” was officially launched by Commissioner of Police Ajao S. Adewale and will run from April 3 to 5.
Command Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, emphasized that the campaign will address key issues including cultism, drug abuse, sexual violence, cybercrime, and kidnapping.
The event commenced with a Clean-Up Exercise at Lagos Street, Garki, and the Palace of the Sa’peyi of Garki, marking the command’s commitment to building community trust beyond conventional policing methods.
The FCT Police reaffirmed their dedication to security and community development, urging residents to work together in making the capital a safer place for all.
