The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, addressed the press today at the construction site of the road linking Idu with Zuba road. The minister emphasized the importance of the project in enhancing connectivity and easing traffic congestion in the area.
During the site visit, Wike reassured residents of the government’s commitment to infrastructural development, stating, “This road will significantly improve access between Idu and Zuba, boosting economic activities and reducing travel time for commuters.”
In addition to inspecting the Idu–Zuba road project, the minister also visited two other key infrastructure sites in Abuja. These projects, which are part of the broader effort to modernize the city’s road network, are expected to enhance transportation efficiency and support urban development.
Residents and stakeholders have welcomed the minister’s proactive approach, expressing hope that the projects will be completed on schedule. Government officials have reiterated their dedication to ensuring quality and timely delivery of all ongoing construction works in the FCT.
