The Nationwide League One (NLO) club, Black Scorpions, have officially relocated to Abuja. The NLO confirmed the move in a letter signed by Chief Operating Officer Olushola Ogunlowo. The club met all requirements for the relocation, allowing them to transition smoothly to the nation’s capital.

Club proprietor and financier, Chief Sunday Dare, reaffirmed the club’s mission to support young Nigerian footballers. He believes the move will provide better opportunities for players and strengthen the club’s long-term vision.

“This relocation is more than a change of location; it’s about creating a stronger foundation for our players. We remain committed to developing young talents,” Dare said.

The move is expected to increase the club’s visibility, attract better opportunities, and strengthen partnerships within Nigerian football. Black Scorpions will now prepare for the new season from their new base in Abuja, aiming to continue their success in the league.
