Aicl Hosts 3rd Roundtable Meeting With Real Estate Partners to Drive Investment In Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria- Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL) has successfully hosted the third edition of its Roundtable Meeting with Real Estate Partners, bringing together key players in the real estate development industry, as well as representatives from various development institutions and agencies.

In her opening remarks, AICL’s Group Managing Director, Ambassador Maureen Tamuno, PhD, lauded the success of the 2024 Abuja Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) and expressed appreciation to partners for their unwavering support. She emphasized AICL’s vision to reposition Abuja beyond its role as Nigeria’s administrative capital, transforming it into a thriving business and investment hub for Africa.

She highlighted that the event builds on success of the inaugural Abuja Business and Investment Summit (ABIS 2024) held last October and sets the stage for upcoming engagements.The GMD applauded the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for his unwavering support and commitment to advancing the vision of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as a leading investment destination. She also expressed gratitude to sponsors for their continued contributions to the FCT’s development under his leadership.

She further announced AICL’s upcoming Investors Forum in the United Kingdom on the 19th of June 2025 with the theme “Exploring Investment Opportunities in Africa’s Gateway. Nigeria. This will be a platform to connect with European investors and Nigerians living in Europe and to showcase investment opportunities in Abuja.

Additionally, AICL is set to host the upcoming Abuja Business & Investment

EXPO (ABISummit2025), taking place from October 21-25, 2025, at AICL’s International Conference Center(ICC), with the theme “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets~ This summit will build on the foundation laid by ABIS 2024 in driving innovation encourage collaborations and solidify Abuja’s role as a key investment hub in Africa.

In alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, AICL is committed to leveraging these investment forums to drive economic growth of the FCT.

Oliver Berger, representing Julius Berger, commended AICL’s efforts and reaffirms support and collaboration, Kenneth Njoku representing Centenary City, exuded confidence in the 2024 summit and especially the high-level participants while Apo Okigbo of AH Properties expressed interest in participation and partnership in the 2025 summit.

The GMD received widespread recognition for exceptional leadership, with stakeholders describing AICL’s approach as highly responsive and strategic.

In her closing remarks, Tamuno encouraged development partners to secure exhibition slots for the UK investors forum. She reaffirmed AICL’s commitment to addressing stakeholders’ concerns and ensuring that investment initiatives are successfully implemented.

The roundtable ended with a vote of thanks by AICL’s Chief Investment Officer, Abiodun Akanbi.
