BREAKING: U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Nigeria to Close Temporarily on February 17

The United States Embassy in Abuja and the Consulate General in Lagos will be temporarily closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day, a federal holiday in the U.S.

In an official statement, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria assured the public that normal operations would resume on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
