A Registered Nurse on the employment of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has received a prestigious Daisy Award for dedication to duty.
The international award was given to Mrs. Rosemary Okorafor, a registered Nurse from Karshi General Hospital in the Federal Capital Territory.
During the presentation on Monday, the Mandate Secretary of the Health Services and Environment Secretariat (HSES), Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, commended the resilience and commitment of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (FCT Chapter), particularly those working with FCT Administration.
The Mandate Secretary said that the spectacular performance is, no doubt, bringing honor to the FCTA and Abuja.
Fasawe said that by securing the award, despite numerous nominations from other states shows how our team performance is being rated.
Her words: “ Our service delivery has surpassed other contenders by meeting all the requirements for the award.
The Mandaye Secretary paid tribute to the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for the quality leadership he is providing, which has led the realization of the feat.
She enjoined all staff of the Health Services and Environment Secretariat to work towards improving services in tune with the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.
